Damon: "I'm a native New Yorker from the Bronx, now living in the DC metro area. From a very young age I've enjoyed science and technology, becoming a techie way back from when I played my first video games at age 5. I've been a huge fan of gaming and computing ever since, turning the latter into a career. I've worked for such places as IBM, MIT, designer Diane von Furstenberg's studio, Yeshiva University, and the Department of Defense as a contractor for the Naval Research Lab and now the Defense Security Service. Much of that work has been in tech support and systems administration, exposing me to various kinds of fun technology."
Science nudged Damon into a love of science-fiction, with fantasy and horror thrown in. Naturally, the paranormal followed. As intricate as the process of life is and with all the questions science has yet to answer, he likes to keep an open mind to think that anything is possible.
However, partly because he's a NYCer, perhaps, and a scientist at heart, Damon is simultaneously a man who won't believe many things unless they're proven to him. So the best way he figures he can help learn more about the paranormal is to use his talents and open-minded skepticism to help SMP scientifically disprove as much as they can. As Sherlock Holmes had said, 'when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.' And the truth is always worth finding.
